Web Analyzer — New Dimensions

Web Analyzer now includes additional operational dimensions for contracts, expanding the data available for analysis across four dimension types:

  • Date
  • Finite choice list
  • Yes/No value
  • Free numeric value

Date Fields

The following date fields are now available in the Lease block:

  • Lease signature date
  • First due date for the first lease payment
  • Lease end date
  • Date of sale and leaseback

The following date field is now available in the Asset block:

  • Date of entry into the accounts of the asset (and of the associated debt)

The following example returns:

  • First lease payment date: 2023/11/07
  • Lease end date: 2028/11/06
  • Asset entry date: 2023/11/07

Finite Choice List Fields

The following finite choice list fields are now available in the Lease block:

  • Type of lease: Finance or Operating
  • Type of term: In advance or In arrears
  • Debt depreciable basis: Simplified 360 days or Calendar 365 days
  • Type of repayment: Linearized or On disbursements

The following finite choice list field is now available in the Asset block:

  • Asset depreciable basis: Simplified 360 days or Calendar 365 days

The following example returns:

  • Type of lease: Finance lease
  • Type of term: Due in arrears
  • Debt depreciable basis: Simplified 360 days
  • Type of repayment: Linearized method
  • Asset depreciable basis: Simplified 360 days

Yes/No Value Fields

The following Yes/No fields are now available in the Lease block:

  • Option to calculate interest on capital less rent (applies when the type of term is in arrears)
  • Exercise of purchase option on a finance lease (initial conditions)
  • Sale and leaseback
  • Prorata of first lease payment
  • Deferral option (applies when prorata of first lease payment is active)
  • Lease termination (applies when a scheduled or early termination event exists)

The following Yes/No field is now available in the Asset block:

  • Exercise of the purchase option on a finance lease (applies when a scheduled or early termination event exists)

The following example returns:

  • The lease includes an option to calculate interest on capital after deduction of the rent.
  • The initial terms of the lease provide for the exercise of a purchase option.
  • The lease is not a sale and leaseback transaction.
  • The lease does not have a prorata first lease payment.
  • Following lease termination, the purchase option has been exercised.

Free Numeric Value Fields

The following free numeric value fields are now available in the Lease block:

  • Number of days' lag linked to the On Disbursement repayment option
  • Exercise of purchase option: amount linked to the purchase option under the initial terms of a finance lease

The following free numeric value field is now available in the Asset block:

  • Exercise of purchase option: amount relating to the exercise of the purchase option when a finance lease is terminated

The following example returns:

  • The lease does not include a number of days' difference.
  • The amount of the purchase option is 2,000.
  • The exercise of the purchase option is broken down by asset category.
